SUPPORT TICKETS
Manage customer support requests within the Hosting Manager Pro workflow.
HOW IT WORKS.
Support tickets keep customer requests connected to the same hosting-management environment rather than scattering routine support across unrelated notes and inbox threads.
01
WHEN TO USE TICKETS
Use a ticket when a customer request needs a tracked response or follow-up. Simple one-line correspondence may still happen by email, but anything operational is easier to manage when it has a clear record.
02
KEEP THE SUBJECT USEFUL
Use a short subject that identifies the real problem, such as SSL renewal, mailbox issue or website outage. Avoid vague ticket titles that become meaningless later.
03
RECORD THE OUTCOME
When you resolve a request, leave enough detail for future you to understand what was changed. The ticket history becomes useful operational context for that client.
04
CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION
Keep responses professional and focused on the action being taken. If a ticket exposes a wider service or billing issue, update the related HMP records as well rather than leaving the important detail only in the ticket.
05
CLOSE CLEANLY
Close or resolve tickets when the issue is genuinely complete. A tidy support queue is much easier to scan for work that still needs attention.
WORKFLOW PRINCIPLE
KEEP THE RECORD AUTHORITATIVE.
HMP works best when the client, order, payment and service records reflect what is actually happening in your hosting business. Before changing a status or date, check the underlying customer or payment event and update HMP to match the real-world state.
