HOW IT WORKS.

The HMP settings area controls the business-wide behaviour behind products, payments, customer communication, invoices, renewals and front-end presentation.

GENERAL SETTINGS

Start with the general business and operational settings. Review business identity, default behaviour and any values that affect newly created records.

PAYMENT SETTINGS

Configure Stripe or the manual payment options you use. Test payment settings before publishing purchase pages so you are not debugging them with a real customer waiting.

EMAIL AND INVOICE SETTINGS

Check sender details, notification behaviour and invoice information. Send or generate a test example whenever you change customer-facing communication.

FRONT-END BRANDING

Set the logo, colours and other customer-facing presentation choices used by HMP. Keep these aligned with the website rather than treating HMP as a separate brand.

ADVANCED SETTINGS

Change advanced options only when you understand the workflow they affect. Before making a significant production change, create a backup and test the result with a sample order or account.

HMP works best when the client, order, payment and service records reflect what is actually happening in your hosting business. Before changing a status or date, check the underlying customer or payment event and update HMP to match the real-world state.
