HOW IT WORKS.

HMP keeps payment and fulfilment deliberately separate. A customer can pay for an order without HMP automatically pretending that a real hosting service has already been provisioned.

01

ORDER CREATED

When a customer purchases a product, HMP records the order and its payment state. This gives you a clear transaction record before any service is activated.

02

PAYMENT STATE

Stripe payments can be confirmed through the automated payment flow, while bank transfer or other manual arrangements can be handled manually. Payment confirmation means the order is paid, not necessarily fulfilled.

03

FULFIL WHEN READY

Once you have actually provisioned the hosting or completed the required setup, fulfil the order in HMP. This is the operational hand-off from a paid order to a live managed service.

04

SERVICE CREATION

Fulfilment is the point at which the live service is created and the service lifecycle begins. Check the customer, product, dates and renewal details before completing fulfilment.

05

WHY THIS MATTERS

Separating payment from fulfilment prevents renewal dates and service records from starting before the work is genuinely ready. It also makes unusual orders, manual setup and provisioning delays easier to handle cleanly.

WORKFLOW PRINCIPLE

KEEP THE RECORD AUTHORITATIVE.

HMP works best when the client, order, payment and service records reflect what is actually happening in your hosting business. Before changing a status or date, check the underlying customer or payment event and update HMP to match the real-world state.
