HOSTING MANAGER PRO DOCUMENTATION
CUSTOMER PORTAL
Give customers a branded front-end area for viewing services, invoices and account information.
HOW IT WORKS.
The customer portal gives clients a clean front-end place to view the information HMP exposes for their account, without sending them into the WordPress admin.
01
WHAT CUSTOMERS SEE
The portal is designed to surface relevant customer information such as active services, invoices and account details in a branded front-end experience.
02
CUSTOMER ACCESS
Make sure each customer account is associated with the correct HMP client record. Test the portal with a non-admin account so you see the experience the customer actually receives.
03
WHITE-LABEL PRESENTATION
Use HMP's branding settings to align the portal with your business rather than Delicious Web Design. Confirm your logo, colours, business details and customer-facing wording before launch.
04
PRIVACY CHECK
Never test customer-facing pages while logged in only as an administrator. Use a real test customer account and confirm that it can see only the information belonging to that customer.
05
KEEP IT SIMPLE
The portal should reduce support questions. Use clear product and service names so customers can immediately recognise what they are paying for and when it renews.

WORKFLOW PRINCIPLE

KEEP THE RECORD AUTHORITATIVE.
HMP works best when the client, order, payment and service records reflect what is actually happening in your hosting business. Before changing a status or date, check the underlying customer or payment event and update HMP to match the real-world state.
