HOSTING MANAGER PRO DOCUMENTATION
CLIENTS & SERVICES
Create, edit, search and manage hosting, domain, maintenance and custom services from one place.
HOW IT WORKS.
Clients and services are the operational core of HMP. Client records hold the customer relationship, while services represent the hosting, domain, maintenance or custom work you actively manage for that customer.
01
CLIENT RECORDS
Use the Clients area to create, edit, search and maintain customer details. Keeping a clean client record gives HMP a single place to associate services, orders, invoices and customer access.
02
SERVICES
A service represents something actively being delivered to a client. Typical examples include website hosting, domain management, care plans or another recurring service. Keep the service name and dates clear enough that both you and the customer can understand what is being managed.
03
STATUS AND RENEWAL INFORMATION
Use service status and renewal information to see what is active, upcoming, overdue, paid or otherwise needs attention. This is the operational view that replaces scattered spreadsheets and reminder notes.
04
EDITING AND MAINTENANCE
Update a service when its plan, price, notes, status or renewal information changes. Keeping the service record current is important because renewal and customer-facing information depend on it.
05
GOOD PRACTICE
Use consistent naming for plans and domains, avoid duplicate client records, and keep one authoritative service record for each live item you manage.

WORKFLOW PRINCIPLE

KEEP THE RECORD AUTHORITATIVE.
HMP works best when the client, order, payment and service records reflect what is actually happening in your hosting business. Before changing a status or date, check the underlying customer or payment event and update HMP to match the real-world state.
