DIGITAL PRODUCT MANAGER PRO
Getting Started
Everything you need to install Digital Product Manager Pro, configure the essentials and make your first test purchase.
Digital Product Manager Pro gives you a focused way to sell, deliver and license digital products directly from WordPress.
You can use DPM to sell software, WordPress plugins and themes, apps, music and audio, eBooks, templates, design assets, photography, documents and other downloadable products.
DPM can handle simple file sales or more advanced licensed software with activations, protected updates and renewals.
1. Install Digital Product Manager Pro
Install DPM like any other WordPress plugin:
- In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add Plugin > Upload Plugin.
- Select the Digital Product Manager Pro ZIP file.
- Click Install Now.
- When installation is complete, click Activate Plugin.
Once activated, a new Digital Products menu appears in the WordPress dashboard.
For the Elegant Themes Marketplace edition, Divi 5 must be installed and active. DPM Pro for Divi includes six native Divi 5 modules as well as shortcodes for placing DPM content inside your Divi site.
2. The DPM Dashboard
Go to Digital Products > Dashboard.
The dashboard gives you a quick overview of your digital product business, including Products, Orders, Customer Access and Software Licences.
Quick links provide access to product management, orders and the customer portal. The refreshed DPM admin interface keeps the main management screens consistent and easy to scan.

3. Configure the Basic Settings
Before creating your first product, go to Digital Products > Settings.
Currency
Choose the currency used for your products and payments.
Customer Account Page
DPM creates and uses a dedicated customer account area called My Digital Products. Customers use this page to access downloads, licences, invoices and account information.
Appearance
Choose your accent colour, button colour, text colour and button radius to match DPM with your website.
Invoices & Receipts
Add your business details, logo and invoice settings if you want DPM to generate branded PDF purchase documents. After fulfilment, the customer PDF can also be attached to the purchase email.

5. Create Your First Product
Go to Digital Products > Products > Add Digital Product.
Enter your product name and description, then configure its Product Settings.
Depending on the type of product you are selling, you can configure product type, price and currency, one-time purchase model, renewal price, available quantity, Sale pricing, updates and download entitlement period, software activation limit, protected product file, software version, WordPress and PHP compatibility, documentation and support links, What's New information and changelog. Leave Available quantity blank for Unlimited, or enter a number to track remaining stock. A quantity of 0 displays the product as Sold Out.
We'll cover these options in detail in Creating a Digital Product and Software Licensing. Sale pricing can use a percentage or fixed discount with optional start and end times. While a Sale is active, DPM uses the Sale price at checkout and suppresses discount-code entry so discounts do not stack.

6. Add Your Products to Divi
When Divi 5 is active, Digital Product Manager Pro includes six native Divi 5 modules:
- DPM Products: display multiple products in a configurable product grid.
- DPM Product: display an individual product using Card or Full layouts.
- DPM Categories: display your product categories.
- DPM Category: display products from a selected category.
- DPM Buy Button: place a purchase control anywhere in your Divi layout.
- DPM Customer Account: place the My Digital Products customer portal inside a Divi layout.
Search for DPM in the Divi 5 module library to find all six modules.
Each DPM module uses Divi's familiar Content, Design and Advanced settings and renders directly inside the Visual Builder. DPM also includes shortcodes as an alternative way to place product, category, purchase and customer-account content in templates or other suitable areas of the site. The Marketplace edition still requires Divi 5, while the Direct edition works with or without Divi.

7. Test the Complete Purchase Journey
Before selling a product publicly, we recommend making a test purchase.
- Checkout opens correctly
- The order appears in DPM
- Customer access is created
- The protected file can be downloaded
- Purchase emails are received
- The invoice or receipt is available and the fulfilled customer email includes its PDF attachment
- A software licence is created when licensing is enabled
- The customer can access everything from My Digital Products
For Stripe, use Stripe Test Mode while setting up and testing your store. If you also enable bank transfer, place a manual test order and confirm that it remains pending until you use Confirm bank payment & fulfil.
You're Ready
Once your settings, product and payment method are configured, you're ready to start selling.
