Carefully tested.
Ready for the world.
Your website is thoroughly tested, optimised and prepared before it goes live. From forms and mobile layouts to speed, security and search visibility, every important detail is checked so your new site can launch smoothly and make the right impression from day one.
02 TESTED. OPTIMISED. READY TO GO.
LAUNCH WITH
CONFIDENCE.
A professional launch is planned, tested and carefully managed.
Before your website becomes public, I complete a structured final review across the site. Pages, links, forms, responsive layouts, browser behaviour and key technical settings are checked against the approved design.
The launch itself is handled methodically, whether the site is replacing an existing website or going live on a new domain. Once published, I complete another round of live checks to confirm that everything is working as intended.
FINAL
QUALITY CHECKS
Every page, button, form, download and important user journey is checked before the website is released to the public.
FAST ACROSS
EVERY DEVICE
Desktop, tablet and mobile layouts are reviewed alongside browser compatibility, image optimisation and real-world loading performance.
LIVE, SECURE
& SEARCH READY
SSL, indexing controls, analytics, backups and essential launch settings are confirmed before and immediately after go-live.
03 READY TO GO LIVE
EVERYTHING CHECKED
BEFORE YOU
GO LIVE.
The final stage turns an approved website into a dependable live website.
I review the visual presentation, functionality and technical setup as one complete system, then prepare the domain, hosting and search tools required for release.
The goal is a controlled launch with no avoidable surprises. Your existing website remains available until the new site is ready, and the changeover is managed at the appropriate time.
DEVICE &
BROWSER TESTING
The finished website is checked across common screen sizes and current browsers so its layout, navigation and content remain clear and usable.
FORMS, LINKS
& FEATURES
Contact forms, calls to action, menus, downloads, galleries and integrations are tested to confirm that important interactions work correctly.
SPEED &
PERFORMANCE
Images, caching and front-end assets are reviewed so the live website loads efficiently without compromising the approved design.
SSL, BACKUPS
& SECURITY
HTTPS, backups, software status and essential security settings are checked before the website begins receiving public traffic.
SEARCH &
ANALYTICS
Analytics, Search Console, sitemap submission and indexing settings are configured so performance and visibility can be measured after launch.
GO LIVE &
VERIFY
The site is published, then checked again on its live domain to verify pages, forms, tracking, redirects and secure connections.
04 FROM FINAL APPROVAL TO A CONFIDENT LAUNCH
THOROUGHLY TESTED.
CAREFULLY PUBLISHED.
CHECKED AGAIN LIVE.
A website should not go live simply because the design work is finished.
The final stage brings quality assurance, technical preparation and the live changeover together. Each step is completed in the right order so the website reaches the public in a stable, secure and search-ready state.
TESTING THE COMPLETE EXPERIENCE
FIRST, WE CHECK
EVERYTHING YOUR
VISITORS WILL USE.
Final testing looks beyond individual pages to the complete visitor experience.
Navigation, links, forms, buttons, downloads, responsive layouts and key integrations are reviewed as they will be used in the real world. Content is also checked for obvious formatting issues, missing assets and accidental placeholders.
Any final issues are corrected before launch approval, reducing the risk of visitors discovering problems that should have been caught beforehand.
PREPARING THE LIVE ENVIRONMENT
FAST LOADING.
SECURE CONNECTIONS.
SEARCH READY.
The live environment is prepared before traffic is directed to the new website.
Performance settings, SSL, backups, indexing controls, analytics and domain records are reviewed. Where an existing site is being replaced, redirects and the safest changeover approach are considered as part of the launch.
This preparation helps preserve search visibility, protects visitor trust and prevents the live website from starting with avoidable technical problems.
PUBLISHING WITH A CONTROLLED PROCESS
CAREFULLY SWITCHED.
IMMEDIATELY CHECKED.
READY TO SHARE.
Once the final approval is received, the website is published at the agreed time.
The domain and hosting changeover is handled carefully, with the previous website kept available until the replacement is ready. After the switch, the live site is checked again because a staging environment can never reproduce every detail of the public domain.
Forms, HTTPS, redirects, analytics, indexing and priority pages are verified. You can then confidently announce and share the new website.
05 BUILT, TESTED & LAUNCHED
FROM APPROVAL.
TO GO LIVE.
WITHOUT THE DRAMA.
Every finished website eventually reaches the same important moment: launch day.
Behind each live project is a final stage of testing, optimisation and technical preparation tailored to its content, features, hosting and existing online presence.
Here are three websites that were taken from approved design through to a carefully managed public launch.
06 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
TESTED FIRST.
LAUNCHED CAREFULLY.
SUPPORTED AFTER.
Launch day should feel exciting, not uncertain.
These are some of the questions clients commonly ask about final testing, domains, downtime, search engines and what happens after a new website goes live.
01 WHAT DO YOU TEST BEFORE THE WEBSITE GOES LIVE?
I check the main pages, menus, links, buttons, forms, downloads, responsive layouts and important integrations. I also review performance, browser behaviour, SSL, backups, analytics and search engine settings before the public launch.
02 WILL MY WEBSITE WORK ON MOBILES AND DIFFERENT BROWSERS?
Yes. Responsive layouts are checked across representative desktop, tablet and mobile sizes, along with current mainstream browsers. No website can be tested on every device ever made, but the site is built and reviewed to work reliably across modern environments.
03 WILL MY EXISTING WEBSITE GO OFFLINE DURING THE CHANGEOVER?
Usually there is little or no noticeable interruption. The new website is prepared before the domain is switched, and the existing site remains available until the replacement is ready. DNS changes can take time to reach every visitor, so a brief overlap is normal.
04 WHAT HAPPENS TO MY DOMAIN NAME AND EMAIL?
Your domain is pointed to the new website without changing the address people already know. Existing email services are identified before DNS changes are made so the required mail records can be preserved and unnecessary disruption avoided.
05 HOW DO SEARCH ENGINES FIND THE NEW WEBSITE?
The website's indexing settings, XML sitemap and essential technical SEO are checked before launch. Google Search Console can then be connected or updated and the sitemap submitted, helping search engines discover the live pages.
06 WILL ANALYTICS BE WORKING WHEN THE SITE LAUNCHES?
Where analytics is included or already in use, tracking is installed and verified on the live domain. Search Console and other agreed measurement tools can also be configured so useful data begins collecting from launch.
07 WHAT IF WE FIND A PROBLEM AFTER LAUNCH?
The live website is checked again immediately after launch, and genuine launch-related issues are corrected as a priority. Some behaviours only appear on the live domain, which is why post-launch verification is part of the process.
08 WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE WEBSITE IS LIVE?
You receive the relevant handover information and can begin promoting the website. Ongoing hosting, maintenance, security, content updates, SEO and future improvements can continue through a separate support arrangement where required.
THE FINISH LINE IS IN SIGHT
READY TO TAKE YOUR WEBSITE LIVE?
Let’s make sure your new website reaches the public in the best possible shape: tested, optimised, secure and ready to represent your business.
From final quality assurance and performance checks to DNS, SSL, analytics and search indexing, the launch is handled by the same designer who built the website.
