Shakir Pichler is an Australian drummer, singer, feature-film action vehicle coordinator, stunt man. He was the founding drummer in garage rock band, The Kryptonics (1984–1985) before joining alternative rockers, “The Bamboos” 1986-1987 and then was drummer for
He then formed and managed his own Rockabilly band “The Howlin’ Moondoggies” in Perth in the early 90’s, playing drums while standing up and singing, the band later moved to Sydney with him in 1999 where they recorded 3 albums, 2 music videos and appeared on six international compilation CD’s., as well as appearing on ABC-TV “Rage” and Foxtel “Channel V”.
He also played drums in other Sydney and Melbourne bands from 2003-2013 as shown in his discography below.
