WA Women’s Hall of Fame
A long-term WordPress project designed, developed and maintained for the WA Women’s Hall of Fame, celebrating the achievements and contributions of inspiring Western Australian women. The website combines a substantial historical archive with custom annual nomination systems, inductee profiles, media resources and automated reveal functionality for each year’s new Hall of Fame inductees.

The WA Women’s Hall of Fame website is an ongoing digital platform designed and maintained by Delicious Web Design to celebrate and preserve the stories of remarkable Western Australian women.
Since its establishment in 2011, the Hall of Fame has grown into an extensive historical resource featuring hundreds of inductees from across Western Australia, representing fields including community, business, health, education, arts, culture, sport, STEM and technical trades.
The website has been structured to make this growing archive easy to explore, with individual inductee biographies, yearly collections, a complete inductee directory, Roll of Honour, media archives, commemorative publications and information about the organisation’s annual activities.
A major part of the project is the website’s yearly nomination and induction cycle.
Delicious Web Design develops and maintains custom online nomination forms to manage submissions for each year’s Hall of Fame intake, along with dedicated content and functionality for each new group of inductees.
Custom countdown and scheduled publishing functionality is also used for the annual announcement, allowing new inductees to remain confidential before the official reveal and then automatically become available through the website after the designated release time.
The project requires ongoing annual development and maintenance as new nominees, inductees, biographies, photography, media releases and commemorative material are added to the archive.
The result is not simply a promotional website, but an evolving digital historical resource designed to support the WA Women’s Hall of Fame year after year.
